Uni reflection - pack of 5x greeting cards
As a fine art photographer I produce highly conceptual work that often attracts the attention of design and university schools. On this occasion I was at Sydney University giving a lecture on my La Petite Mort series at the school of Architecture. As a direct comparison to my fine art photo series I carry a camera all the time looking for street photography. This is a reflection alongside the bistro / bar area in Chippendale.
These greeting cards are similar to the posters available on the site in that they are reproductions of some of Hamish’s most recognisable and arresting street photographs.
Hamish’s work is featured in collections around the world, he also exhibits these images in galleries nationally. Recent shows have included work at the National Portrait Gallery and the Australian Centre for Photography.
The cards (and posters) are printed in an offset process which is the same used to produce high-end art books and magazines. The paper is an uncoated slightly matte stock, which is made of 70% recycled fibres, the inks used are vegetable based. The paper-weight is 190gsm.
The (folded) card size is 105mm wide and 140mm high and comes with a standard C4 envelope.
The interior is blank. They are available in packs of five.
