Aroma: Elegant blackcurrant, liquorice with a hint of leather
Palate: Intense blackcurrant and cassis notes with a touch of mint.

Vintage: An excellent vintage with generally dry and mild conditions. Good rainfall early in the season preceded favourable conditions around harvest. Warm days and cold nights has yielded intense fruit characteristics with fine acid balance.

Winemaking: Grapes were crushed and destemmed. Must warmed up to 25 degrees, innoculated with yeast and alcoholic fermentation was carried out for 10 days. Malolactic fermentation in barrels.Wine was matured in American and French oak barrels for 20 months. Fine, stabilized and filtered prior to bottling.
