Vintage: Above average temperatures early in the season provided an excellent fruit set. High rainfall in February posed some risks, however harvest conditions proved ideal with fully ripe fruit, balanced acids and great fruit characteristics

Winemaking: The grapes were crushed and after a gentle destemming, the must was warmed to 25 degrees and innoculated with yeast cultures. Alcoholic fermentation was carried out for a period of 9 days, and then wine was drained and pressed into American (75%) and French (25%) barrels to finalize malolactic fermentation
