Planted almost 10 years ago by the Coppins family, the Shiraz vineyard faces the northern sun and produces, as the season’s weather allows, elegant cool climate wines. Harvested in late-summer on a rare sunny day, the Shiraz spent around 15 months in two year old French Oak and is an expression of the Clydesdale highlands terroir.
The fruit is to the fore. Lots of berry flavours with a hint of chocolate rounding off a really pleasing palate that entices a pause, in a busy life, just to savour the moment amid the company of family and friends. Throw whatever your mood mandates on the BBQ and be generous with the wine. You will be well rewarded.
