20170513 Emma Jean Harvey - Flourishing - 13th May - 2nd June

Join us for a joyful exhibition of large scale paintings by Sydney artist Emma Jean Harvey. The show opens 2pm Saturday 13th May and runs through to Friday 2nd June.

Emma is a Contemporary Artist specialising in abstract expressionist artworks inspired by the natural world. Unique, large scale decorative works of layered acrylic on canvas, these highly textured original works make a lasting impression; an affirmation of beauty….of flourishing that somehow you can’t help but embrace and celebrate.

“Flourishing” captures and celebrates the ephemeral beauty of life. At once elegant and composed, yet fervent, sensual and wild, this significant solo exhibition is a salute to nature… heralding blossoming, thriving, energy, hope, change and joy…an exploration of vital moments and of what it means to be a woman alive.”

Why? Spending time in nature and surrounded by beautiful things brings peace, harmony and equilibrium to our thoughts and our lives. An Emma Jean Harvey creation is an inspiration and an invitation to reconnect with your own natural pulse. These works explicitly aim to bring the natural world into people’s work spaces, homes and public places.

The scale of the exhibition is impressive with up to 12 large works gracing the walls of 10KP in Bowral. These generous pieces will appeal to local residents and visitors to the Southern Highlands with ample wall space or perhaps a country or ocean retreat. Commercial spaces and business premises are also suited to Emma’s work. Aside from the works on show, Emma works on commission and sells her work to clients in Australia and abroad. Architects, interior designers and commercial leasing specialists are also keen followers.
